For example, asking Allah to let someone walk on water is allowed, because while people cannot normally do this, Allah can make it happen if He wills.\\nBut we cannot make dua for something that is a contradiction in itself, like a square circle or a triangle with four sides. These things can never exist in any way, so it would not make sense to ask for them.\\n\\nIn short, dua can be made for anything that Allah has the power to bring about, even if it is beyond human ability. But dua does not apply to things that are impossible in their very nature. So, asking Allah to make you taller, even after you've stopped growing naturally, is a valid dua.\\n\\nFor more on the etiquette of dua:\\n\"},{\"attributes\":{\"link\":\"https://www.carolinaqa.com/q/668da0ae0b76658b4c233dc1\"},\"insert\":\"https://www.carolinaqa.com/q/668da0ae0b76658b4c233dc1\"},{\"insert\":\"\\n\"}]}","tags":[{"_id":"668d9fe30b76658b4c232829","tag":"Worship: Dua","count":109},{"_id":"668d9fe50b76658b4c232859","tag":"Aqeedah: Allah ﷻ‎","count":66},{"_id":"668da0230b76658b4c232f2c","tag":"Men: Other","count":23}],"createdOn":"2025-09-03T14:25:34.784Z"}
