He is innocent, but sometimes does things that I feel are inappropriate, almost somethings one would see in the LGBTQ Community. I’m unsure if they are temporary things, or if they are things I should be worried about. He is 7-8. I’m afraid he will be affected by the LGBTQ community, as it’s almost impossible to save your child from this madness. How can we save our children from this, while living in America? I know other countries deal with it and all but as a single parent, I’m terrified. He understands the concept of a mom and dad and child, but I have mentioned that two men and two women cannot marry as its haram. I don’t know what else to say or do or help shape his perception and clearly see the difference between halal and haram.\\n\"}]}","answer":"{\"ops\":[{\"insert\":\"Help him build a connection with Allah by teaching him that Allah loves us, cares for us, and wants the very best for us. Explain to him that everything Allah teaches us is to make our lives good, safe, and happy. When he feels close to Allah, he’ll better understand why we follow what Allah says. \\n\\nHelp him feel proud of being Muslim. Show him good examples from the life of the Prophet Muhammad ﷺ, his companions, and other great Muslims. Tell him how they were kind, brave, and respectful, and how they enjoyed life and had fun without losing their dignity or good manners. This will help him want to be like them.\\n\\nShare stories of prophets and righteous people regularly. Children naturally love stories and learn from them. Stories make it easy to understand how we should behave and why it matters.\\n\\nTeach him that having fun is completely okay and part of life. But also explain to him that making himself a clown or acting silly to get attention isn’t the best way to behave. Muslims should try to stay balanced and respectful even while playing and joking with friends. Being funny and playful is good, but we should always keep our manners and dignity.\\n\"}]}","tags":[{"_id":"668da0010b76658b4c232b9d","tag":"Relationships: Parent and Child","count":111},{"_id":"668da0460b76658b4c2332e6","tag":"Contemporary Life: Lgbt","count":15}],"createdOn":"2025-07-07T13:21:59.205Z"}
