For example, I often hear people say a cloth on my head does not make me religious, or they know plenty of hijabis who are non religious and engage in many sins, while they know sisters who don’t cover yet are extremely modest and don’t commit as many sins. I also hear that hijab has nothing to do with the heart, doesn’t mean anything when it comes to a woman and should not be emphasized because it’s “shallow”. I know we do not wear hijab for people, and it is for Allah, however hearing these things constantly has started making me have thoughts such as “look how easy it would be to not wear it” “I would be more respected without hijab and people would assume better of me”, “is it really that bad to not wear hijab if my heart is good” etc etc. It is already so hard wearing hijab, but it’s even harder when I keep hearing there’s basically no point or benefit to it, and it’s just a shallow part of religion. How can I let go of these feelings and not feel regretful of my choice?\\n\"}]}","answer":"{\"ops\":[{\"insert\":\"I am very sorry to hear about the difficulties you are facing in regard to fulfilling the obligation of wearing the hijab.
