Fasting your first Ramadan is very special, may Allah ﷻ reward you and accept all of your acts of worship insha’Allah.\\n\\nIf fasting is causing one illness or exacerbates a pre-existing illness, you can break your fast. Since it seems you were able to fast some days, I’m assuming it’s likely you can make up these fasts later. If so, that’s all you would have to do. However, if your health condition becomes one that would prevent you from ever being able to make up the fast, you would pay Fidya.
