So, Alhamdulillah I have a very close group of Muslim friends, but we also have some non-Muslim (Christian) friends we also invite to spend time with us as well. I get really emotional thinking about if they pass away as a non-Muslim and just the thought of being able to see them become a Muslim and pray next to us and visit the masjid with us just makes me want to give them dawah. My issue is that I feel like I do have a good baseline of knowledge but the only thing I'm worried about is that I don't want to feel as though I'm disrespecting them or them feeling like I'm recruiting them if you know what I mean. I just genuinely want good for them, and I know in my heart that they are in the right direction in terms of their current beliefs and that they just need that push but I don't want to come across as pushy. How could I give them dawah in a way where I don't lose them as a friend, or dawah where they don't feel like I'm disrespecting their own beliefs?\"}]}","answer":"{\"ops\":[{\"insert\":\"Actions often speak louder than words, so strive to lead by example. Live as a practicing Muslim and let your character reflect the beauty of Islam. The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ was renowned for his impeccable manners, and many people were drawn to Islam because of his behavior. Be honest, kind, and trustworthy in your interactions, showing generosity, patience, and forgiveness in your dealings with others. These qualities can make a profound impression and serve as a silent form of dawah.\\n\\nWhen discussing religion, look for natural opportunities rather than forcing a conversation. For instance, if your friends ask about your practices, such as fasting or prayer, use this as a chance to explain the underlying beliefs and values. You can also share stories or verses from the Qur'an that relate to topics they care about or are currently discussing. This approach allows the conversation to flow organically, making it more comfortable and engaging.\\n\\nIf your friends express interest, consider sharing resources like books, videos, or articles about Islam. However, be mindful not to overwhelm them with too much information at once.\"}]}","tags":[{"_id":"668d9fe30b76658b4c23280f","tag":"Relationships: Non-Muslims","count":95},{"_id":"668da02b0b76658b4c232ff9","tag":"Relationships: Friend","count":52},{"_id":"668d9fe80b76658b4c2328bd","tag":"Worship: Dawah","count":24}],"createdOn":"2024-12-30T15:57:50.103Z"}
