Occupy your heart and mind with the obligatory prayers and strive to perfect them. Make a goal to pray sunnah prayers, if you don’t already. Put extra emphasis on the Tahajjud prayer, as our beloved Prophet ( ﷺ) states in a hadeeth: ….and standing up in prayer every night therein (10 nights of Dhul-Hijjah) is equivalent to the Night of Decree. Reported by al-Tirmidhi.\\n\\n2. Honor your parents. The Prophet ( ﷺ) referred to honoring your parents, as Jihad. If you serve them at night, you will attain two rewards, a reward for honoring them and a reward for Qiyam al-Layl. If your parents have passed away, then honor their relatives and make supplication and seek forgiveness for them. One can also slaughter (Qurbani), and intend the reward for them; or complete Khatam of the Quran for their parents. These are only examples, there are many ways to honor your parents, as simple as bringing them happiness.\\n\\n3. Remembrance of Allah (ﷻ) through dhikr but also through abstaining from what is displeasing to Him. We are in the time of Labaayk (“Here I am at your service, oh Allah). Live up to those beautiful words. Abandon a sin you have been struggling with or a bad habit solely for the sake of Allah (ﷻ). Reflect on what could be distancing you from Allah (ﷻ) and leave it now, once and for all.\\n\\n4.
