Is there a difference of opinion?","answer":"If you imply that the Prophet ﷺ lacked knowledge about this, it's an assumption we're not permitted to make because Allah ﷻ disclosed more to him than what he shared with us. Secondly, whether the companions or subsequent generations knew about the earth's shape is inconsequential for us today. Muslims, irrespective of era or location, are obligated to utilize available information, tools, and resources, striving diligently to accurately determine the qiblah direction.\nAs for differences of opinion, I’m not aware of any differences amongst the Sunni schools.\nIf you are interested in reading more on this subject, then I would suggest reading “Port in a Storm” by Nuh Keller.","tags":[{"_id":"668d9ffd0b76658b4c232b1a","tag":"Salah: Qibla","count":17}],"createdOn":"2024-07-09T20:41:53.402Z"}
