I have heard it is permissible to braid your hair and just do three handfuls of water. Or do we have to completely wet our hair?  It can be difficult for women to wash their hair too often.","answer":"{\"ops\":[{\"insert\":\"When it comes to braided hair, scholars hold differing opinions regarding whether the braids must be undone for washing and how much needs to be washed.\\n\\nFor simplicity, I am presenting two main viewpoints: the Shāfiʿī and Ḥanafī schools. The Shāfiʿī school says that women, like men, must wash each strand of hair without undoing the braids if water can penetrate and reach all the strands. On the other hand, the Ḥanafī school says that if hair is braided, women are obligated to wash only the hair roots, provided water can reach the scalp. If one chooses to follow the Ḥanafī position on this matter, it's important to ensure the rinsing of the mouth and nose because these actions are required for a complete ghusl according to the Ḥanafī school.\\n\"}]}","tags":[{"_id":"668d9fdf0b76658b4c232795","tag":"Tahara: Ghusl","count":40}],"createdOn":"2024-07-09T20:41:50.031Z"}
