When they do, they must maintain composure and not wail or act in a way that does not exhibit patience with Allah's decree.\nThe Prophet Muhammad (sallallāhu ‘alayhi wa sallam) came upon a woman and she was weeping at the grave and he said to her, اتق الله واصبري “Be aware of Allāh and be patient!” [Bukhari&Muslim]\nThe proof in this report is that he did not forbid her from continuing to visit the grave. Also what is reported by ‘Ā’ishah (radiya allāhu ‘anhā) who asked the Prophet, “What do I say when I visit the graves?” Whereupon he instructed her to send salams upon the inhabitants etc. [Muslim]\nThis is the view of the Shafi school.","tags":[{"_id":"668d9fe00b76658b4c2327c8","tag":"Women: Other","count":52},{"_id":"668d9fe00b76658b4c2327c5","tag":"Death: Burial and Graves","count":31}],"createdOn":"2024-07-09T20:40:28.951Z"}
