If this is invalid, then how can someone (specifically a female pray out in the public without having to worry about being harassed)?","answer":"Drawing from the sunnah of our beloved Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him), who used to offer prayers while traveling on his animal, it is permissible for someone who is traveling beyond the city or town limits to perform voluntary (nafl/sunnah) prayers in a moving vehicle, such as a car, while seated and without facing the qibla. They can simply lower their head for the ruku (bowing) and sujud (prostration). However, this allowance does not extend to obligatory prayers. For obligatory prayers, it is necessary to face the qibla, stand, perform the bowing and prostration, provided one is physically capable of doing so. In the situation you described, if you're not able to find a place to pray, then I would recommend that you delay the prayer until you find a place, and if the prayer window is about to end, pray sitting in your car, then repeat the prayer at a later time.","tags":[{"_id":"668d9fef0b76658b4c232985","tag":"Salah: Validity","count":156},{"_id":"668da0110b76658b4c232d3e","tag":"Car","count":6}],"createdOn":"2024-07-09T20:39:45.868Z"}
