I have heard the time between can't be more than the time it takes to do wudu. Also I wonder, is it allowed to do the usual adhkar and then go to the next prayer? Is there a difference of opinion here between the Shafi and Hanbali schools?","answer":"That’s correct. The two prayers need to be done consecutively. There must not be a long break between them. The break cannot be longer than the time it takes to do light wudu and iqama according to the Hanbalis. For the Shafis it’s the time it takes to do two light rakas or to do wudu (if someone needs to redo their wudu). As for doing any adhkar, it’s not haram if the break is short but not sure if it’s makruh or not. Definitely better to avoid. It’s best to just get up after the first prayer and do the iqama and pray the second.","tags":[{"_id":"668d9fea0b76658b4c2328e8","tag":"Salah: Traveling","count":65},{"_id":"668d9ff90b76658b4c232aa6","tag":"Shafi","count":10},{"_id":"668d9fe80b76658b4c2328b4","tag":"Hanbali","count":2}],"createdOn":"2024-07-09T20:39:41.833Z"}
